Ruby grew up surrounded by the sound of jazz and swing (her parents even met in a big band!). At sixteen, she became the lead vocalist for the Melvin Beddow Big Band, and it was there that she discovered her love for performing with the drive and sparkle of a full ensemble behind her.
Today, she continues to work closely with a range of talented big bands, bringing classic tunes to life for audiences of all kinds.
