"Ruby and her band were recommended to me by a former work colleague when I was looking to hire a band for my daughter's wedding in September 2023. From the initial contact Ruby proved helpful, pragmatic, enthusiastic and utterly professional. We agreed on 3 x 40 minute sets with Ruby providing suggested playlists, as well as incorporating suggestions from the bride and groom and working around veto'd artists. The reception was outside in the grounds of a church hall, with the band setting up under a gazebo. Each set increased the tempo and pace of the music, encouraging dancing and collective involvement. At the end of the final set the crowd insisted on an encore and the feedback from guests has been unanimously fabulous. Ruby and the band absolutely made the evening reception and a wonderful time was had by all."

"Ruby Robinson's quartet performed at Ruskin Park Bandstand on Sunday 30 July. They arrived on time, set up their equipment and were wonderful in resolving a problem we had with our PA system. Despite the atrocious weather, Ruby and her band were amazing. The vocals and backing were exciting and the very wet audience enjoyed the 50 minute performance and insisted on an encore. The enjoyment and energy projected by the band defied the torrential downpour and turned a grey wet Sunday into a joyous event. "Ruby filled in last minute for our summer garden party and despite the typical British weather (high winds and rain) and changes to the location (inside rather than outside in the sun!) she didn’t complain and just got on with setting up with no issues!
