A Destination Wedding to Remember: Graham & Liz in Paphos, Cyprus 🌍

Some performances stay with you forever - and my first destination wedding is certainly one of them.

Graham & Liz invited me to Paphos, Cyprus, to sing for their wedding drinks reception, and the experience was nothing short of magical. From the sunlit terrace overlooking the sea to the warm, relaxed atmosphere, every detail of their day felt soft, joyful and full of love.

A Beautiful Setting for a Beautiful Celebration

The moment I arrived, I understood why they chose Paphos. The sunshine, the gentle sea breeze, the calm glow on everyone’s faces - it all created the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, fun and laughter.

Guests gathered on the terrace after the ceremony, and I began the afternoon with a set of jazz and swing classics, keeping the ambience elegant and relaxed as everyone settled into the celebrations.

From Jazz & Swing to Motown & Soul

As the sun began to set, we shifted into Motown, Soul and feel-good favourites, transitioning seamlessly into a warm, lively atmosphere. Watching everyone dance together while the palm trees swayed behind us was something I’ll never forget - it was effortless, natural and filled with joy.

It captured exactly what I hope to bring to every wedding I perform at:

connection, heart and a sense of timeless celebration.

What touched me most about this experience wasn’t travelling abroad for work (as exciting as that was), but the warmth and kindness Graham & Liz showed me throughout the day.

Their thank-you card, alongside their beautiful review afterwards, genuinely meant the world. Feeling so included in their celebration made the entire experience even more meaningful.
