Ruby Robinson’s Swinging Session!! 🎺🎶

Why it has taken me so long to post this I do not know…

BUT WOW - WHAT A NIGHT!!😭❤️

After months of planning, rehearsing, organising and promoting, last month the Melvin Beddow Big Band and I finally took to the stage at Chelmsford Theatre Studio to perform and record what we hope will become our debut live album to be released later this year!!

Performing in front of a Big Band is where my home is, and this band…man…YOU SHOULD HAVE HEARD THEM!! Absolutely stellar.

Firstly, a massive thanks to this amazing band - the Melvins. Months and months of hard work and it was pulled off. THE TALENT!!

I am so unbelievably grateful I get to work alongside these folk and be part of their history.

Secondly, to everyone who bought a ticket, applauded, cheered, laughed, sung along, travelled to support us…thank you!! What a fantastic atmosphere it was…🥺❤️

Gahhhhh I am an emotional and grateful human for this life - I love love love this job.
