Welcoming Spring as a Jazz Singer in London & Essex | New Season, New Energy

…and just like that - it’s Aries season 🌸
There’s something about this time of year that feels like a reset. Longer days, warmer air, open windows, and that first real feeling of sunshine on your face after a long winter.
As a jazz singer based in London and Essex, the start of spring always feels like a shift - not just in the seasons, but in energy, creativity and momentum.
The beginning of 2026 has already been such a special one. From a beautifully busy January filled with performances, to a slower, more romantic February, and a calm, reflective March - it’s been a season of both growth and grounding.
Now, as we move further into spring (and closer to a new decade 👀), I’m feeling ready to embrace it all - more live music, more connection, more moments outside, and of course… more jazz.
There’s something about this time of year that invites you to step back out into the world - whether that’s performing, creating, or simply enjoying the little things like long walks, fresh air, and nature coming back to life.
And for me? Nothing quite compares to seeing the cherry blossoms bloom - a little reminder each year that new beginnings always come around.
If you’re planning events, weddings, or live music experiences this spring and summer, it’s such a beautiful time to bring live jazz and swing music into your celebrations.
Go outside, let the sunshine hit your face, and enjoy the shift in season.
